This was one of the most comprehensive sub 5m boats we've built. This 481 Hornet Pro was built for a central Victorian based angler who fishes the big southern impoundments for giant Murray Cod. Starting with a Quintrex Hornet Pro 481 hull with black paint all round, the build went all out custom from there.
We added a Suzuki 115hp four stroke with fly by wire, and the tandem Telwater trailer was modified with rollers being replaced by skids, all components blacked out, and Boat Buckles and Boat Catch added.
Steering was upgraded to hydraulic, and a fuel filter kit was added. The electrical side of things was taken care of by 2x Delkor M27 cranks, and three deep cycle lithiums to power the electronics - charged by an Invicta charger.
These included a Garmin Force 57", 2 Garmin Echomap Ultra 125 units, fitted on Ram mounts to link with a Garmin Livescope setup. Lighting was looked after with Stedi rock lights inside, LED strip lighting in lockers, and a Stedi light bar under the Force. Sockets were added to power a fridge and keep those beers cold. A Fusion sound system was included, and finished off with a custom wrap and boat cover. The ultimate freshwater casting rig!
